# We’ve never been more connected. So why does it feel like we’re growing further apart?

We can see what our friends had for dinner, where they went on vacation, and what they’ve been up to without ever having a conversation with them.

We follow hundreds, even thousands of people and like their posts, comment, and watch stories.

We know what’s happening in each other's lives but somehow we forget to ask them about it.

And somewhere along the way, following somebody on social media from a distance became a substitute for actually reaching out and staying connected with them.

But relationships aren’t built through likes, views, or the occasional comment.

They’re built through conversations.

Remembering the little things that build relationships.

Through checking in when there’s no particular reason to.

We need to recognize that technology isn't the problem. Technology has given us incredible ways to stay connected.

The problem is that we’ve gotten really good at keeping up with content and not nearly as good at keeping up with people.

It’s time to change that.

Meaningful relationships deserve the same intention we put into our careers, our health, and everything else we care about.

Not because friendships should feel like work but because the people we care about are worth making time for.

# That's why we're building Remlist.

Not another feed to scroll or social media platform to maintain.

Just a tool that helps you stay in touch with the people that matter to you.

A tool that helps you know when to check in, remember important details, and make time for the conversations that otherwise get lost in the busyness of life.
